Board Recognizes June 2025 Employees of the Month

June 2025 Classified Employee of the Month Trevor Curtice and Certificated Employee of the Month Erin Rossi were recognized by the County Board of Education.

The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is one of 58 county offices located throughout the state. Approximately 780 regular and more than 815 temporary and substitute SCOE staff work year-round providing services that complement and supplement those offered by public school districts in Sacramento County. The Sacramento County Board of Education celebrates the accomplishments and exemplary service of SCOE employees through the Employees of the Month Program.

Classified Employee of the Month

Trevor Curtice, Office Assistant at the Woodland Day Reporting Center (Reentry Program) was nominated by Project Specialist Brandee Brewer. Curtice consistently demonstrates professionalism in his daily work with multiple agencies. He has shown exceptional dedication to both coworkers and clients. Curtice is a positive, reliable team member who brings a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit to the reentry team. He is highly motivated, takes initiative, and consistently delivers high-quality work. His willingness to assist with any task and his commitment to excellence make him an asset to the team. Trevor Curtice has been a SCOE employee since 2023.

Certificated Employee of the Month

Erin Rossi, Teacher at Leo A. Palmiter Jr./Sr. High School, was nominated by Principal Lauren Roth. Rossi is a reflective, dedicated educator who actively seeks new ways to support her students. She collaborates well with colleagues, creates engaging lessons, and is eager to deepen her knowledge in the science of reading and assessment. Rossi co-facilitates Friday Night Live, promoting drug and alcohol prevention, and leads a structured 6th-period physical education program that fosters teamwork and reduces peer conflict. Rossi’s positive attitude and professionalism will make her a valuable contributor to next year’s Professional Learning Communities at Palmiter. Erin Rossi has been a SCOE employee since 2021.
