Gary K. Hart Resiliency Scholarship
The Gary K. Hart Resiliency Scholarship recognizes SCOE students who have demonstrated determination and resilience in overcoming obstacles, helping support them as they pursue post-secondary education or vocational training.

American River Parkway Foundation
Donations to the American River Parkway Foundation help fund SCOE’s River Bend Outdoor Environmental Education Program. Donations help to waive fees for Title I schools and in other special circumstances, helping ensure all students can participate.

Friends of Sly Park
Friends of Sly Park is a non-profit organization that raises funds for student and school scholarships, helping those that would otherwise be unable to participate in the Sly Park Environmental Education program and miss out on an unforgettable learning experience.

LINKS Mentoring Program
Growing up, was there someone who encouraged you and showed you the ropes? That person was a mentor to you. You can “pass it on” to the next generation by volunteering as a mentor with the LINKS Mentoring Program.

SCOE Foster Youth and Homeless Services Program
To support equitable access to students at SCOE schools, the SCOE Foster Youth and Homeless Services program is looking for funding sources, corporate sponsors, and individual donations, including:
- Individual gift cards for fast-food restaurants
- Gift cards for clothing stores (e.g., Target, Walmart)
- New black socks, black beanies, and black gloves
- Non-perishable food items that don’t require heating or refrigeration
