Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Network

Research shows a strong connection between family involvement and academic achievement. Family–school–community partnerships play a critical role, improving student success rates and and increasing teacher morale.

The Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Network at the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) aims to build and strengthen partnerships between families, schools, and communities. FACE provides a range of resources and services to families and communities, including workshops, trainings, and events on topics like effective communication and academic support strategies. FACE also works to connect families and communities with local resources and organizations that can provide additional support and services. The goal is to help families and communities better understand the educational system and support the academic success of children.
