Academic Competitions Are Important!

High school students often join athletic teams or clubs that promote social activities or sports. But what about the ones whose interests are more academic in nature? If you’re looking for an intellectually challenging extracurricular experience, Academic Decathlon might be just the thing! (Check out the video at the bottom of the page.)

The Academic Decathlon is a multifaceted competition where high school students can challenge themselves across a wide range of subjects, including music, economics, and public speaking. This event not only enriches students' knowledge but also fosters a strong sense of community and a culture of learning within schools. It's an excellent opportunity for students to form lasting friendships with peers who share their passion for knowledge and are dedicated to honing their academic and study skills.

It always starts with one. Whether you're a freshman newly introduced to the program or a teacher who once competed, you have the power to bring Academic Decathlon to life at your school! Rally your friends, find a dedicated coach, download the curriculum, stock up on snacks, and let’s kick off the journey together!
