K–12 Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) Department
The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) K–12 Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) Department provides high-quality professional learning, instructional coaching, expert technical assistance, and strong leadership to improve achievement in schools and districts. Department staff work with teachers, instructional coaches, and education leaders in both schools and districts to develop the knowledge and skills needed for schools and districts to engage in a systematic and sustainable improvement process. This work brings together resources from a variety of sources to improve instruction, close the achievement gap for identified student subgroups, build a collaborative culture, and strengthen site and district capacity to raise achievement for all students.
