SCOE’s Equity Imperative

The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) believes its efforts are enriched by the diversity of its staff and those they serve. SCOE strives to cultivate an anti-racist organization that promotes a sense of belonging for every learner, family, educator, and employee. SCOE believes that creative and innovative strategies, programs, and services must be developed and promoted to meet the unique needs of all learners and to eliminate opportunity and achievement gaps. In doing so, SCOE will disrupt inequities and re-envision education with a focus on empowering the next generation of youth to take on new challenges and thrive.
