The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) annually selects a teacher to represent SCOE in the Sacramento County Teachers of the Year Program. Any SCOE certificated, non-management employee working in a SCOE student instruction program is eligible for nomination as Teacher of the Year 2002.
Completed nomination must be submitted to SCOE's Public Information Office (9738 Lincoln Village Drive, Sacramento) by Tuesday, 1 May, at 5 p.m. Call (916) 228-2217 to request an application form.
Any person—colleague, parent, student, district staff, or community member—may submit a nomination. The person being nominated must agree to participate fully in the SCOE Teacher of the Year selection process and submit the completed nomination form by the 1 May deadline.
