In an effort to promote employee health, the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) hosted a Health and Wellness Fair for employees at the David P. Meaney Education Center on March 9.

The fair was organized to teach employees how to improve health in all aspects of their lives. The goal was to showcase some of the many resources available to assist employees in achieving a healthy lifestyle.

Learning opportunities were available with information about nutrition, cancer screening and prevention, blood and organ donation, exercise, dental health, mental health, and a lot more.

Participants also received information about eating healthy, routine exercise, managing stress, safety, and annual wellness exams. SCOE employees also took advantage of the opportunity to get free neck massages and foot scans.
