The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE), in partnership with the Center for Sacramento History, will host Sacramento County History Day on Saturday, March 8th at Inderkum High School in Natomas. Sacramento County scholars in grades 4-12 will gather to present their original projects in one of six categories. This year's theme is "Rights and Responsibilities in History."
Friendly, service-oriented community members with an interest in history are needed to serve as judges. Volunteer judges will evaluate student entries and provide positive feedback and constructive criticism to help competitors advance to the state level this April. Judge training takes place the morning of the event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
