Cheer the accomplishments of distinguished local teachers while watching the Sacramento Kings take on the Portland Trail Blazers at Sleep Train Arena on Sunday, March 1. The game begins at 3 p.m.

In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Day, the Sacramento Kings are making upper-level seats (regularly $50.60-$82.60) available for just $22-$44 (seat locations vary). Some $74 lower level tickets (regularly $101.65) are also available.

Those wishing to sit as a group should order their tickets together. For phone orders or assistance with online ordering, email or call Melissa Tinsley of the Sacramento Kings: (916) 473-4039.

Specially priced Teacher Appreciation Day tickets are not available at the Kings box office or other ticket sales outlets. Schools ordering 20 or more tickets as a group will be listed in-arena on KingsVision. Teachers of the Year in districts selling more than 100 tickets will receive a classroom visit from "Slamson," the Kings mascot.

During Kings Teacher Appreciation Day, local Teacher of the Year 2015 will be honored on the basketball court. Suite tickets for the day's dignitaries will be provided courtesy of Rabobank. Teacher Appreciation Day, which includes an invitation-only pre-game reception for the district Teachers of the Year 2015, is sponsored by the Sacramento Kings.
