Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) employees celebrated their artistic talents at an art show and reception October 6, 2015. The 8th annual event, held at the SCOE Administration building, featured art created around the theme "Education: It's In Our Nature."

Each year, SCOE presents an exhibition of artwork created by employees, shining a spotlight on their artistic accomplishments and showcasing outstanding staff talent. This year, 30 artists from 14 SCOE departments and sites are represented. The 55 pieces of art on display include paintings, textiles, mixed media, ceramics, photography, written word, arts and crafts, sculpture, and illustration.

Art is on display weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the David P. Meaney Education Center through November 2015.

The employee art show was organized by the SCOE Communications Office staff.
