The California School Public Relations Association (CalSPRA) honored the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) Communications Office with three statewide awards on March 3 at its annual conference.
CalSPRA is a nationally recognized leader in school communications. Its annual Excellence in Communication Awards Program recognizes superior achievement in meeting strategic goals through high-quality communications and public relations programs. The competition, open to K-16 educational professionals and institutions, is designed to provide recognition for creative, results-oriented, and cost effective work—plus valuable feedback from fellow public relations professionals. Entries were judged by representatives from the New York State School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA) and the Sacramento chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) based on demanding criteria.
