2017 Financial Aid Workshops for Students

Do you or a student you know need money for college? How about help filling out all those financial aid forms and scholarship applications? If so, consider attending one of the free Cash for College workshops being held in the Sacramento region through February 2018. Trained volunteers will be on-hand to help students and their families file for state and federal financial aid.

Cash for College October 2017 Workshops​

  • October 1: CSU Sacramento, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • October 3: Hiram Johnson High School. 6–8 p.m.
  • October 4: Sacramento Charter High School, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
  • October 5: San Juan High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 10: Calvine High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 11: Delta High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 12: McClatchy High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 14: Woodland Community College, 9 a.m.–12 noon
  • October 17: Luther Burbank High School, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
  • October 18: Highlands High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 18: River City High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 19: Cordova High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 19: Antelope High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 24: Rosemont High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 25: Encina High School, 6–8 p.m.
  • October 26: Valley High School, 6–8 p.m.

The workshops for Sacramento County students are sponsored by the California Student Aid Commission. The Sacramento Cal-SOAP Consortium (California Student Opportunity Access Program) at the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is the local coordinator and directly serves students in 55 elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Sacramento County.
