The River Delta Unified School District has requested assistance from the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) in the search for a district superintendent.
River Delta Unified is a K–12 school district with a student enrollment of 1,910. The district is situated along the Sacramento River within three California counties: Sacramento, Solano, and Yolo. The district office is located in Rio Vista, 45 miles northeast of San Francisco and 35 miles southwest of Sacramento. The district has eight small schools—four elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools—serving the communities of Birds Landing, Clarksburg, Collinsville, Courtland, Hood, Isleton, Locke, Rio Vista, Ryde, and Walnut Grove.
The deadline to apply is March 11, 2019. Interviews are tentatively planned for mid-April.
