2020 Student Art Calendar Now Available

Annual Publication Supports SCOE Arts Education Programs

The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is pleased to offer a newly designed wall calendar featuring student artwork on every page. Student Expressions 2020 is a full-color (9" × 12") wall calendar with 14 unique pieces of art, created by students from SCOE’s preschool, special education, and court/community school programs throughout Sacramento County.

Participating Programs and Educators Recognized

The following SCOE educators each received a $50 art supply grant from Schools Financial Credit Union, in recognition of their participation in this year’s student art program:

  • Carissa Jones and Julie Quigley (El Centro Jr./Sr. High School)
  • Kathy Lemke Waste (Leo A. Palmiter Jr./Sr. High School)
  • Lisa Saenz (Mitchell Middle School / CARE Program)
  • Terri Edinburgh and Dorothy Van Vleet (Prairie Elementary School—West Campus)
  • Debbie Carlson (Smedberg Middle School / CARE Program)
  • Tim Kimble (Wilson C. Riles)

Ordering

The Student Expressions calendar is available for $8 (plus $2 postage if mailed). Purchase five calendars and receive a sixth for free. Proceeds from calendar sales benefit arts education programs at SCOE campuses.

In Person

Calendars are available for purchase in-person during normal business hours at SCOE’s David P. Meaney Education Center: 10474 Mather Boulevard, Mather. (SCOE will be closed December 24–January 1 for winter break.)
