The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) has officially announced the names of the Sacramento County Classified School Employees of the Year for 2023. The competition, which is open to school district and SCOE staff, is designed to acknowledge and promote the efforts of outstanding classified (non-certificated, non-management) employees across the county.
Evaluators from each participating district reviewed the applications and the written narratives that were provided by the nominees. The highest-scoring candidate in each category was selected for exemplary work performance, school and community involvement, and leadership. The winner in each category will now move on to represent Sacramento County in the California Classified School Employees of the Year competition.
Partners supporting the Sacramento County Classified School Employees of the Year Program include the Sacramento Republic FC, the Sacramento River Cats, and SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union.
