SCOE Partners to Host Training Events for Sacramento Region Teachers

SMUD Community Education & Technology Center: Educator Workshops

SCOE is partnering with SMUD to present STEM-focused learning experiences that inspire and inform teachers from across the Sacramento region.

Education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) subjects fosters innovation and creativity, encouraging students to explore and develop new ideas and technologies. These subjects also teach students critical thinking and problem-solving skills that can be used to tackle complex, real-world challenges.

To help teachers integrate these important lessons into their classrooms at all grade levels, the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) has partnered with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) Community Education & Technology Center and the Aerospace Museum of California to host a series of free STEM-focused learning experiences for K–12 educators across the Sacramento region.
