School administrators play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of educational institutions, fostering a positive school culture, and supporting teachers, staff, and students. The Leadership Institute at the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) collaborates with local school districts to operate a program for those who aspire to become education leaders. Its one-year Preliminary Administrative Services Credential Program teaches the skills needed to excel in administrative roles at schools and school districts.

The Leadership Institute is currently accepting applications for the credential program’s 2024–25 cohort. Applications are due by May 17, 2024, with interviews taking place this June. Two informational meetings are scheduled next month (4 p.m. on March 19 or March 26). The meetings will be conducted via Zoom.
